How long does a timeshare transfer take?
This depends on the specifics of your timeshare and resort management. Normal turnaround times range from 8 to 20 weeks.
What states can LT Transfers process?
We process transfers nationwide, including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Aruba. Contact us for a quote if your timeshare is located outside the continental United States.
What if I do not have my deed?
In most instances, we can conduct a deed search to locate it for you. There is a $25 research fee for this service.
Do resorts charge transfer fees?
Many resorts charge a resort transfer or name-change fee. We can usually provide this information or acquire it from your resort management on your behalf.
Family & Trust Transfers
Can I add my children to my deed?
Yes, if they are of legal age. We will prepare the updated deed and handle recording and resort notification once it is signed.
Can I transfer ownership into a trust?
Yes. We will need a copy of your trust document to prepare the transfer paperwork correctly.
How do I transfer an inherited timeshare?
We review the estate documentation you have available and prepare the deed to reflect the new owner. Requirements vary depending on how the timeshare was held.
